Corfe is a multi-genre exploration of various intersections of UK electronic music, all unified by Kinlaw's unique sense of space, arrangement and atmosphere. From the scuzzy, breaks-driven atmospherics of opener 2nd Cave to the ghostly half-time swagger of Gramrcylvl5, generic tropes are lifted into unfamiliar territories with unconventional, rough 'n' ready sampling techniques and disjointed but utterly original arrangements. This release is for anyone who's looking for a more leftfield take on British dance music, executed with singular style and vision.
